Safair Operations, operating as Flysafair, has a vacancy for a Call Centre Agent at our head office in Bonaero Park.   The successful applicant will report to the Assistant Manager: Customer Care Centre.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receive calls from customers / passengers;
  2. Deal with confidential information;
  3. Communicate with customers both verbally and in writing.
  4. Deal with problems such as delays, cancellations etc.;
  5. Work in a team and longer than normal hours (shift work);
  6. Explain processes to customers and assisting them where necessary;

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  1. Punctual;
  2. Excellent understanding or experience of delivering great customer service to a customer;
  3. Immaculate time keeping;
  4. Trustworthy, professional and reliable, including dealing with confidential information;
  5. The ability to work well under pressure;
  6. Practice good time management and willingness to work longer than normal office hours;
  7. Remains focused in order to handle objections.
  8. High degree of patience and assertiveness;
  9. Conflict resolution skills;

SHIFTS:

  1. 07:00 – 16:00
  2. 08:00 – 17:00
  3. 09:00 – 18:00
  4. 10:00 – 19:00

Includes weekends and public holidays.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Requirements

  1. Grade 12;
  2. One (1) to four (4) years’ experience in a Call Centre Environment;
  3. Travel or relevant qualification will be an advantage; 
  4. Excellent communication in English – speak, read and write;
  5. Solid computer literacy;
  6. Excellent phone etiquette;
  7. No criminal or credit record;
  8. Able to work on weekends, public holidays and flexible hours as required;
  9. Own transport would be an advantage.
