About the Role

• The Shire is committed to strengthening and supporting communities through promotion and
• provision of community investment funding. The position will be responsible for SmartyGrants
• administration of community investment funding programs across all directorates.
• Reporting to the Team Leader – Finance Operations the core responsibilities include:
• Implement and manage community investment funding programs using the
• SmartyGrants online platform including providing information and advice to
• stakeholders
• Coordinate program dates and liaise with internal Program Owners
• Assess applicant eligibility in compliance with program guidelines
• Coordinate program assessments and consensus meetings for appointed
• Assessment Panels
• Prepare correspondence to applicants including Funding Agreements
• Manage payment of funds to successful applicants
• Monitor and process acquittal reports within required timeframe
•  Coordinate panel recommendation summary for Council reporting

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• You are a highly organised and motivated team player with a strong alignment to community
• investment funding. Your communication skills and your ability to build and maintain effective and
• productive relationships will be paramount in this role. In addition, you will have:
• Experience in planning, delivering and monitoring grant applications (desirable)
• Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret policies and program guidelines
• Ability to multi-task and manage workload to a high standard
• Experience with the operation of SmartyGrants (preferable)
