Cleaner and Laundry Assistant

About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Cleaners/ Laundry staff to join the team. This role will assist the home in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety, as well as assisting in Laundry and kitchen hand.

How you’ll make an impact

Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shift

Ensure the home is clean to high standards

Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous cleaning and or laundry experience in a commercial, health care or Aged Care environment is desirable, but not essential 
• Understanding of kitchen hand duties is desirable.
• Clear communication skills both written and verbally
• A passion for interacting with our residents
• Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals
• Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
